When life as we know it disappears in the greacy hands of unnfamiliar employees and management personal of Verizon Telephone Company. Yoru local telephone service using the parcing of words to usurp your legal rights, has their slimey hands in your pocket... Never Again!!
The problem m exists in a global world where one countries legal rights go beyond another countries ethical and moral expecattions.
Will we have a global small claims court wheree violations of privacy will be compensatable or that one has recource for an attitude that one can abuse the rights of another, "because they can" and nobody is watching.
Have you ever call your telephone company and asked that your records are not viewd by the custmer service individual who refuses to repond to your service needs or opens your account records without your "permission because they can", and the supervisor views your records because he can... then you call back and customer service people in another stae with out sourced personel do the same and make an excuse that it was in advertent.? Have you ever had within the same time frame as the above called the company and the customer service individual who opened you account records did not properly leave the employee time stamp in your file? Have you ever requested a confirmation number and not been given one after you make a payment on line and then you payment is not applied to you account and then you receive in the mail a leetter that coerces your payment under the threat of turning off you dsl when it is the telephone companny not the dsl that the invoice applies to.
What to do?
1- Don't call the PUC they are the quasi regulatory agency , cop out pass the buck organization that rolls over the rights of the customer so corrupt business paractice go on as usual.
2- Do not give permissioon for your records to be reviewed unless you get an agreement name and emploee identify number.
3-Record you telephone calls
4Get the name of the customer service individaul
5 Ask to speak with the supervisor and make in no uncertain terms that you account is legally your right to deny such invasion of you privacy
6-Do not accept an address to right to when told they do not have right to deny you the telephone number to Customer Relations or the Retention Department.
7-Understand that the individual on the other end of the telephone converstaion is not lookig to help you they are trying to limit the rights that you have so as to increase right or wrong despite your legal rights the financial line.
8-Do not bundle services get separate billing and do not use a credit card to guarentee the telco payment. Pay with a check.
9-Do not use a third party payment service where you pay for the ability to pay on the telephone. Your phone will be disconnected if they fail to forward your payment.
10-Make sure you tell all parties you are recording the call to assure that you accurately have the ability to determine that what you are being told is legal.
11-Whwn you are given less than 72 hours to respond to a disconnect notice deemand immediate a manager return the call within 2 hours
12-Dispute the charges verbally and ask for an extension of service
13-Above all do not trust what you are being told, the services are being out-sourced and they employee is very often have personal axes to grind and will create problems.
14-Any attempt to notate your file is to cover their asses at your expense.
15-They will lie and try to pay you 25 dollars for the abuse.
16Do not accept the money and call a class action attorney after informing the company you are do that.
17Project the mindset that your integity is worth more than 25 dollars and that the company hides behind cowardly business parctices
18 Insisit that you want the telephone number and not the address of shareholder relations
19 Inform the board of directors of the practices as described above.
Record all converstaions and save the conversations
if you do not you rights as an americna citizen will be outsourced first to you neighboring city, state conutry until no one cares wheter you live or die
